Membership offers a full programme of Golf competitions along with a varied calendar of social events, roll-ups and with our buddy up system its easy to meet other Members.
Mill Ride is located in a great location for Ascot Golf in the county of Berkshire, specifically East Berkshire. Which is very close to Buckinghamshire.
The major benefits of becoming a Golf Member at Mill Ride include 16 day online Member priority tee booking on our 18 hole championship Golf course, reciprocal Member usage of other Golf clubs within the south-east, preferential green fee rates for Member guests and special Member rates for society Golf days and Golf tuition.
Our Clubhouse is intimate and well-appointed with an outside terrace overlooking the 18th green. We also have a full and varied food menu complemented by a wide selection of beverages in our Clubhouse Lounge.
To book a trial round and sample the Club on weekdays or weekends after midday please call us today. It is also worth noting that any green fee from your trial round will be credited back to you if you subsequently join within one week of your visit.

Mill Ride Golf & Country Club Membership Rules as revised 15th August 2025
In addition to the Club Membership Rules concerning the administration of Membership, Members attention is drawn to the Club Rules, which include local rules on golf etiquette, opening times, dress code, smoking policy, safety and hygiene, car parking and mobile phone usage, etc. A copy of this document will be given to you on enrolling and a further copy will be displayed on the Club notice board.
By signing for this Membership, you are agreeing to be bound by both these Rules and it is your responsibility to be aware of these Rules.
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Membership of the Club comprises of the following categories:
7 Day Golf Membership – Seven-day access to the Golf Course and Practice Facilities.
5 Day Golf Membership – Five-day (Midweek) access to the Golf Course and Seven-day access to the Practice Facilities.
Please note that all Junior and Intermediate Members will automatically be moved up at the first annual rate review date after the relevant birthday and we will write to inform you of the subscription rates for their new Membership category.
Intermediate Golf Membership – (age restrictions apply and are subject to Club rules) Seven-day access to the Golf Course and Practice Facilities .
Junior Golf Membership – (age restrictions apply and are subject to Club rules) Seven-day access to the Golf Course and Practice Facilities.
Overseas Golf Membership – Seven-day access to the Golf Course and Practice Facilities. Subject to restrictions.
Executive Membership – 7 Day access credit-based system, Executive Members are permitted restricted access to major competitions and knockouts as determined by the Board of MRGC2013 Ltd.
Corporate Membership – 5 Day and 7 Day – Access to Golf Course and Practice Facilities. Subject to restrictions.
MEMBERSHIP JOINING AND SUBSCRIPTION FEES
Please note that some form of identification, which includes the new Member’s signature, will be required at the time of joining. For new Members wishing to pay by Direct Debit, we will also require confirmation of your bank account details by completing a Direct Debit Mandate or Paperless link via email).
Membership joining fees and subscription fees, inclusive of current VAT charges are reviewed annually on 1stJune. Members are notified in writing of any changes with a minimum of two weeks’ notice
The Board of MRGC2013Ltd reserves the right to reject an application for membership, or refuse admission, without ascribing any reason for doing so.
All signed applications provided with the Mill Ride Golf & Country Club Membership Rules will be deemed to have formed a legally binding contract between the Membership and MRGC2013Ltd. Members are also signing their agreement to abide by these Club Rules.
Members are committed to pay a non-refundable administration fee or joining fee. This is a one-off charge made at the commencement of Membership. If a Member leaves and then re-joins at a later date, a new administration fee or joining fee will be payable at the rates prevailing at the time of re-joining.
Golf Membership is an initial commitment from the date of joining until the following rate review date (1stJune) and annually thereafter to the rate review date each year, in the chosen category of Membership.
At enrolment, Members must declare any injury, illness or other health condition that may prevent them from using some or all of the club facilities. Members are also required to report any changes in their health status that may subsequently prevent them from using some or all of the club facilities and will only return to exercise after consultation and approval of their doctor.
At enrolment, Members will be asked to pay pro rata subscriptions for the current month plus the following month’s subscriptions plus any joining fees for themselves and all other Members within their group.
Membership subscriptions are payable either annually at joining until the following rate review date and then annually on the rate review date each year or monthly by Direct Debit.
All Direct Debit draws will take place on or around the 5th of each month unless otherwise advised. Where the 5th of the month falls on a weekend or a bank holiday the subscriptions will be drawn from the Member’s bank account on the next available working day.
In the event of the Main Member terminating their Membership, any Partner Member is required to become an Individual Member. This may involve paying any additional joining fee applicable at the time and future monthly subscription rates at the individual rate rather than the Partner rate.
Membership joining, administration and subscription fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
In the event of subscriptions not being paid on the due date, access to Mill Ride Golf & Country Club premises may be refused.
In the case of Members who pay by Direct Debit, if a payment is missed, you will be contacted by the club to make a manual payment and then your account can re-activate the following month or we take a double subscription payment in the following month’s Direct Debit draw.
Should you fail to meet your ongoing commitment to pay subscriptions, access to Mill Ride Golf & Country Club premises will be refused and the remainder of the year’s subscriptions become payable, in full, within 14 days.
Failure to pay within 14 days will result in the Membership being terminated forthwith and the possibility of legal action being taken.
MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSIONS
Membership may be suspended if requested in writing, for physical incapacity through long-term injury or illness if supported by medical evidence at the time.
Membership may be suspended if requested in writing, redundancy or relocation (a minimum distance of 20 miles from the Club)
Membership suspension for any of the above reasons will not be granted in retrospect.
The period of suspension is for a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve unless otherwise agreed in advance with the Board of MRGC2013Ltd. A monthly fee will apply depending on the reason for suspension.
MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERS
With the exception of specific Transferable Membership types, Memberships are not transferable and cannot be used by anyone else.
UPGRADING AND DOWNGRADING
Golf Membership may be upgraded at any time but may only be downgraded to take effect at the rate review date each year or by special permission granted by the Board of MRGC2013Ltd. No refund of any portion of the joining fee will be made.
TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Golf Membership may only be terminated at the rate review day each year or by written agreement of the Board of MRGC2013Ltd.
MRGC2013Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission and/or expel any Member forthwith if any Member shall, in the opinion of the Club, cause nuisance, annoyance, breech any Rules, or for any other reason which the Club may deem appropriate. In the event of any dispute the Board of MRGC2013Ltd decision shall be final.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Club will use the personal information that the Member has submitted on the membership form in the following ways:
for administrative purposes;
to send the Member updates on the Club and its affairs by email, post or SMS;
to send the Member occasional promotional and/or fundraising communications including details of special offers and details of any products and services which may be of general interest to the Member via email, post or SMS;
All information kept on authorized computers will be password protected. The Members’ personal information will be stored on secure third party servers not owned by the Club. MRGC2013Ltd will ensure that the third parties responsible for such storage will not have access to the data for any purpose other than to fulfil their role as the nominated service provider.
Members’ personal information will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed to any third parties, except as detailed above. Members’ data will not be sent to countries outside the EU.
The Member is entitled at any time to notify the General Manager that he or she does not wish to receive any further marketing communications from the Club. The Club will comply with any such request within 40 days of notification.
The Member has the right at any time to write to the General Manager to request a copy of the personal information that the Club holds about them. MRGC2013Ltd reserves the rights to charge the Member for this service.
USE OF THE FACILITIES
The Board of MRGC2013Ltd may at any time, without penalty, withdraw all or part of Club’s facilities for any period or periods with or without notice in connection with any cleaning, repair, alteration or maintenance work or for any other reason that the Board of MRGC2013Ltd deems necessary. The Board of MRGC2013Ltd also reserves the right to set aside facilities for social or sporting events and details will be published on the Club notice boards.
LIABILITY
All Members, and their Guests, use Club facilities at their own risk and MRGC2013Ltd will accept no responsibility for any illness or injury howsoever cause, other than liability that may arise from negligence of MRGC2013Ltd.
MRGC2013Ltd’s liability for damage or loss to Members’ property is strictly limited to any damage or loss suffered as a result of negligence of MRGC2013Ltd or its Staff. With this exception MRGC2013Ltd will not accept liability for money, valuables or other personal property of Members and Guests. Property stored in lockers provided by MRGC2013Ltd is stored at the owner’s risk and no liability for loss or damage thereto will be accepted by MRGC2013Ltd
Vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles parked or left in Mill Ride Golf & Country Club car parks or elsewhere on the premises of Mill Ride Golf & Country Club and all contents in them or on them, are left at their owner’s risk. MRGC2013Ltd will accept no liability for loss or damage in respect thereto.
MRGC2013Ltd cannot accept any liability for any accident to any Member or Guest that may occur on the premises, other than liability that may arise from negligence of MRGC2013Ltd or its Staff.
Any Member or Guest who suffers an accident on Mill Ride Golf & Country Club premises, or in its grounds, must report the accident and the circumstances under which it occurred, to the General Manager or a member of staff at the Club immediately following the accident.
GENERAL
No food or drink, alcoholic or otherwise, may be brought into and consumed within the Club or its grounds.
Members and Guest must at all times observe both these and the Club Rules, (copies of which are located on the Club’s notice board) and comply with any reasonable directions which the Board of MRGC2013Ltd may give to ensure the smooth operation of the Club, the facilities and the convenience of all Members.
The Board of MRGC2013Ltd, whose decision shall be final, shall determine any dispute or difference, which may arise with regard to the interpretation of these Rules.
The Board of MRGC2013Ltd reserves the right to amend these Rules, and all tariff charges, at any time and without notice to Members. Notification of any change will be displayed on the Club notice board.
